A Joyous Culmination: Celebrating Fr. Emmanuel Agu’s Installation

On November 24th, St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church marked a momentous occasion as we celebrated the installation of our new Pastor, Fr. Emmanuel Otuosoruchi Agu. The day was filled with gratitude, joy, and unity as our parish family gathered to witness this blessed event.

The celebration began with a solemn Mass presided by Most Reverend Gregory J. Studerus, Auxiliary Bishop of Hudson County, Archdiocese of Newark. The beautiful liturgy, filled with heartfelt prayers, hymns, and inspiring reflections, highlighted Fr. Emmanuel’s commitment to leading our parish with faith and love. Bishop Studerus’ presence and guidance added a profound spiritual significance to the event, reminding us of the sacred role of a pastor in shepherding his flock.

Following the Mass, the celebration continued in Centennial Hall, where parishioners came together to honor Fr. Emmanuel with a festive reception. The hall was alive with laughter, fellowship, and a true sense of community. Guests enjoyed a sumptuous meal prepared with love, accompanied by live music and dancing, making it a joyful and memorable occasion.

The atmosphere was filled with warmth and gratitude as parishioners shared stories, offered their congratulations, and expressed their excitement for the future under Fr. Emmanuel’s pastoral leadership. It was a day that not only celebrated Fr. Emmanuel’s installation but also highlighted the vibrant spirit of our parish family.

We thank everyone who worked tirelessly to make this day a success—from the liturgical team to the reception organizers, musicians, and volunteers. Your efforts truly made this celebration one to remember.

As we move forward, we pray for God’s blessings upon Fr. Emmanuel. May he continue to lead us with wisdom, compassion, and faith as we grow together in Christ.
