Embracing the Eucharistic Revival at St. Anne's Parish

The Blessed Sacrament

Weekly Eucharistic Adoration at St. Anne's Parish

Starting this Monday, July 15th 2024, St. Anne's Parish commences Weekly Eucharistic Adoration in response to the National Eucharistic Revival. This initiative, aligned with the three-year movement in the United States, focuses on revitalizing our spiritual bond with the divine through the Eucharist. Engaging in this Revival endeavor allows us to embrace God's healing, rejuvenation, and the unity of both the Church and the world.

The National Eucharistic Revival, driven by the Holy Spirit, invites us to focus on four essential pillars: reinvigorate worship, create moments of personal encounter, engage in robust formation, and send Catholics forth as missionaries. Through these pillars, we are called to deepen our relationship with the Eucharist and, consequently, with Jesus Christ.

Pope Francis beautifully reminds us of the transformative power of Eucharistic Adoration: “For in the warmth of His presence, our lives change. Without Him, everything would truly be gray. Adoring the Body and Blood of Christ, let us ask Him with our heart: ‘Lord, give me the daily bread to go forward, Lord, satisfy me with your presence!’” The Blessed Sacrament is the True Presence of the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ, and in His presence, our lives are filled with light and purpose.

Eucharistic Adoration Schedule:

  • Days and Times: Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm ET

We warmly invite all parishioners to consider dedicating at least 30 minutes each week to spend in the presence of Jesus. Your participation is crucial in ensuring that the Blessed Sacrament is never left unattended.

How to Participate:

  1. Sign-Up Sheets: Available at the back of the church. Parishioners can sign up for weekly adoration after every Mass.

  2. Commitment: Please commit to at least 30 minutes per week by signing up.

  3. Schedule Publication: The schedule will be published once we have sufficient coverage for all time slots.

  4. Substitution: If you are unable to attend your committed time, please arrange for a substitute by contacting others in the community.

  5. Continuous Adoration: The Blessed Sacrament must not be left unattended at any time, so your participation is essential.

Thank you for your dedication to this sacred time of adoration. Your commitment helps ensure that Jesus is always accompanied in the Blessed Sacrament. As we embark on this journey of Eucharistic Revival, let us come together as a parish community, united in our devotion and love for Christ, allowing His presence to transform our lives and our world.
